From the College Marshal:
We’re excited to recognize you, the Class of 2020, this weekend with virtual events on Saturday and an online tribute Sunday. While this isn’t the graduation any of us at the college expected for you, in this time of national unrest, that doesn’t take away from your accomplishments. Now more than ever, the world needs Williams graduates.
Your official graduation date is June 7, 2020. You can add your degree to your résumé and applications, tell your friends and family, and join a worldwide community of Eph alumni—you did it!
Below are links to the virtual events that took place on Saturday, June 6. And visit this special online tribute to the Class of 2020.
12:30 p.m. Music Department Senior Recital
2 p.m. Phi Beta Kappa Induction Ceremony
3 p.m. Sigma Xi Induction Ceremony
4 p.m. Senior Athlete Celebration and Awards Presentation
5 p.m. Raising Our Gaze: an offering from the Chaplains Office featuring student voices and honoring our seniors
A number of academic departments and programs are hosting their own virtual events and celebrations throughout May and June. Students will be contacted directly with details by the event organizers.
Here is a complete list of 2020 graduates, including various honors received. The awarding of student prizes will vary by academic department. Departments will inform award winners directly, either through individual communications or a departmental virtual ceremony. Physical prizes such as books will be mailed directly to winners at an address they specify. Cash prizes will be awarded by check or direct deposit in June. (Instructions for signing up for direct deposit are here.)
To secure official documentation that you graduated on June 7, go to getmytranscript.org to request an official transcript. Diplomas will be mailed to you in August. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
If you ordered a yearbook, it will be sent to your address this summer. We hope to be able to publish a yearbook supplement next summer with memories from your 2021 Commencement celebration. If you would like to purchase a copy of the Class of 2020 photo taken during orientation, you can do so here.
Celebrate at Home
