Sunday, June 2, 2024 – Commencement Day
8:00 a.m. Catholic Mass, Upper Sanctuary of Thompson Memorial Chapel. Mass will be celebrated by Rev. John Mulreany, S.J. (Williams ’91). All are welcome.
8:00 a.m. Commencement Venue opens to visitors, Williams Quad
9:30 a.m. Commencement Procession, First Year Quad
10:00 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Commencement Exercises, Williams Quad
Commencement Speaker: Lonnie Bunch, Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution
A live stream will be available on the Commencement landing page beginning 9:45 am on Sunday, June 2.
12:15 – 1:30 p.m. President’s Reception, Chapin Hall Lawn
Note: Commencement will be outdoors even if there is light to moderate rain. A live stream will be available in Chapin Hall, if you prefer to view the ceremony indoors. No tickets required.
Indoor Commencement: In the event of extreme or dangerous weather, we will move the Commencement ceremony to the Lansing Chapman Ice Rink. Tickets will be required for entrance. The ceremony will be live-streamed and can be viewed at the ’62 Center for Theatre and Dance (no tickets needed) or off campus.
