Parking: We recommend all guests (and those driving guests) with mobility issues park in the Lower Chapel Lot by 8:30 am. If that lot fills up, please park in the lot behind nearby Thompson Hall. Golf carts will be available to transport guests to the Commencement site, and from there to the President’s Reception, then back to the parking lots. The demand for transport will likely be higher right after 9:00 am, so please plan to arrive early to assure you will be seated before the ceremony begins.

Seating: Seating for those in wheelchairs or with limited mobility will be located in a clearly marked section. We welcome one family member to accompany their guest(s) in this section; we ask that the rest of your group sit in adjacent bleachers to ensure enough seats for those who need them.

In the event of an Indoor Commencement (tickets required) or Ivy Exercises (no tickets):

Parking: The Field House Lot closest to Lansing Chapman Rink will be designated parking for those with mobility issues. The accessible entrance from the Rink lot is to the right of the main entrance.

For those guests without tickets (Commencement only), Chandler Gym is our simulcast venue. Those transporting family members in wheelchairs or with mobility issues can park in the Field House Lot closest to Lansing Chapman Rink. Entrance to Chandler Gym will be via the pool locker room door or the main entrance to Chandler Gym. Ushers, Campus Safety officers, and signage will direct families as needed. If you enter via the main entrance, please take the elevator to the ground floor.

Seating: Please look for the designated handicapped seating on the ground floor of the gym.
